Clinical analysis:20 cases of gestational hypertension complicated placental abruption

Objective: To discuss the characters of pregnancy-induced hypertension complicated with placental abruption and treatment effect.Methods: Data of 20 cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension complicated with placental abruption that hospitalized in our hospital during January 2005 and May 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Results: Premature children occurred in 3 cases,low birth weight children in 3 cases,neonatal distress in 5 cases,stillbirth in 1 case,neonatal death in 3 cases.For women with moderate to severe pregnancy-induced hypertension that was complicated with placental abruption,2 new borne babies experienced respiratory besides,and 2 died with death incidence of 25.0%.Conclusions: Strengthened prenatal examination and prevention of pregnancy-induced hypertension is the key to reduce placental abruption incidence;early diagnosis and effective treatment is essential for reducing maternal mortality induced hypertension complicated with placental abruption.
