Flow Field Simulation of Chemical Mixing Process for Direct Injection System based on CFD

Three different types of chemical mixers were designed in the paper. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the configuration modeling and the volume grid of all types of mixers were built at different working conditions. Then for all types of mixers and in different parameters, the pressure contours, the fluid particle trajectories were calculated and displayed in the mixing process of water and chemical through the selection and definition of their specific conditions of the boundary and their solving models. Analyzing and comparing these CFD result data could be very useful for designing and choosing more optimizing and efficient mixers.
