The utility model discloses a creeping-on-pipe device mounted on pipes to be operated comprising a housing, a motor being mounted within the housing, a rotor shaft being pivotally mounted within the housing, the axial direction of the rotor shaft is parallel to that of said pipes, a speed reducer being mounted within the housing and connected between the output end of the motor and the rotor shaft, at least a driving chain gear, being mounted at one end of said rotor shaft, a tension pulley with the same gear quantity as the driving chain gears, being mounted within the housing while in correspondance with location of the driving chain gear, a two-circumferencial live axle, being mounted within the external lower part of the housing, a closed-loop gear chain with the same gear quantity as the driving chain gears, enwrapping the driving chain gear and the tension pulley, extends through the opening from the lower part of said housing and bypassing said two-circumferencial live axle, then enwraps the pipes. The utility model has various operational tops, it is widely compatible, convenient for use and cost saving in engineering.
