Effect of Rutoside on Plasma Level of TXB_2/6-keto-PGF1α and Level of Nitric Oxide in Pancreatic Tissue in Rats with Acute Pancreatitis

2010
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of rutoside (Ru) on the plasma level of TXB2/6-keto-PGF1α and level of nitric oxide(NO) in pancreatic tissue in rats with acute pancreatitis (AP). METHODES: 48 SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model group, high-dosage, middle-dosage and low-dosage Ru groups and danshen group. AP model rats were induced by sodium taurocholate solution. The plasma level of TXB2,6-keto-PGF1α,enzymatic levels and pancreatic NO were examined and pathology examination was conducted. RESULTS: The plasma level of TXB2/6-keto-PGF1α and the content of NO in pancreatic tissue can be obviously reduced by Ru in model rats. The pathological examination results showed that pancreatic edema, necrosis, inflammation and vaculization in AP rats was effectively suppressed by Ru. CONCLUSION: Ru shows a protective effect on pancreatic tissue.
