How I started my research in Walsh and dyadic analysis

My first paper [1] related to Walsh functions was published in 1972. After that in a cooperation with A.V. Efimov and V.A. Skvortsov we published the monograph Walsh Series and Transforms - Theory and Applications [2]. My first paper [3] on the dyadic derivative and dyadic integral appeared after I read trough the papers of P.L. Butzer and J. Wagner [4], [5].
