The Self‐Activated Luminescence Properties of Blue‐Emitting Sr9Ga(PO4)7.

The title compound is synthesized by solid state reaction of a stoichiometric mixture of SrCO3, (NH4)2HPO4, and Ga2O3 (350 °C for 10 h, 850 °C for 5 h, and 1050 °C in air for 10 h).
