Specific Heat of EuSe between 0.5 and 16°K

Specific‐heat measurements have been made on six polycrystalline samples of EuSe from 0.5 to 16°K. A sharp peak was found at 4.55±0.02°K. The purest samples had additional small peaks at 1.7 and 2.8°K. Below 1°K the magnetic specific heat could be described by CM=1.44T2 J/mole°K.
