Male Puberty and Its Disorders

This chapter selectively highlights the major advances in the past three years. Consideration is given to those areas which have made a significant impact on our understanding of the mechanisms of pubertal regulation and influenced clinical management of male pubertal disorders. For a more comprehensive general coverage of this topic, the reader should refer to other recent reviews and monographs (Plant, 1994; Plant, 1995; Grumbach and Styne, 1998).
