Impact of Ammonium Chloride Salt to CCR Platforming and Countermeasures

As the operating period elongated,problems occurred in the CCR Platforming of YPC,Sinopec,including the increase of hot side temperature difference due to deposition of ammonium chloride salt,the decrease of separation accuracy of the Depentnizer,plugging of compressor filter and corrosion of part of the heat exchanger.Aimed at solving the plugging and corrosion problems,alkaline wash,online water washing,nitrogen sealing,as well as reducing the use of ammonium chloride were proposed.
