Subject of the analysis is interaction of social processes and individual professional self-determination that forms and carries out in the result the professional choice as social process. In this interaction two essentially various aspects have been emphasized. One of them is the influence of multiform intra group and intra organizational processes on professional orientation of each member, another one is the examination how structure and functions of a social community, social system refract in structure and functions of professional adaptation of the certain individual through professional self-determination as social process. The functional purpose of professional self-determination is in adapting of accomplishing professional facts, the cultural and professional phenomena to the already created, earlier existing views, opinions and estimates. The mentioned above functions of professional self-determination as a matter of fact generally are adaptable mechanisms. The methodology of definition of social indicators of successful adaptation assumes a system of views which is targeted to specify its epistemological status, connecting it with various theories of knowledge, and also to enter the professional indicators that character the phenomenon of professional self-determination in a panorama of existing views.
