Three New Homologous 3‐Alkyl‐1,4‐benzoquinones from the Fruiting Bodies of Daldinia concentrica

A new homologous series of 3-alkyl-5-methoxy-2-methyl-1,4-benzoquinones (1-3), with chain lengths of C-21 to C-23, were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Daldinia concentrica, together with five known compounds. The molecular structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
