EPR and Raman spectroscopy of high Tc superconductor YBa2Cu3O7

Abstract Lattice vibrational Raman Spectrum of the system is reported for the first time in 20–100 cm -1 range. The temperature dependence of EPR in the range 300 to 77 K in X-band region is presented for YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 system. The normal and superconducting phases have been characterized by an anomalous temperature dependence of the EPR signal.
