younger and those 60 years or older fell.In particular10% of patients over 80 fell.Falls occurred most often at the bedside(51.3%)followed by in a corridor(22.4%)a lavatory (10.9%)a floor(7.7%).Seventy-seven falls(49.4%)were related with an act of excretion.
