Relationship Between the Effect of Discharging Ureteral Calculi and the Ultrastructure of Stones

Objective:To exploring the relationship between the effect of discharging ureteral calculi and the ultrastructure of stones.Methods:30 patients of ureteral calculi were treated with medicine of Chinese-western and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy.Ultrastructure and elemental analysis were observered by the scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and X-ray energy disperse analysis system(EDAX).Results:The stones can't row out by Chinese traditional or western medicine,eventually,stones can be rolled out through extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy.Stone's particles have core and one layer structure of the rings,the brick blocks long column for crystal closely stacked arranged in radiation form and all with mixed composition.The outer layer was composed by dense and thick mucus composition and a certain degree adhere to ureteral wall.Conclusion:Drugs have difficulty in rowing out of ureteral calculi.It can have a better effect in discharging ureteral calculi by integrated Chinese and Western medicines.
