Dose Response Relationship of Aloe vera to Cure Atopic Dermatitis in Rats.

Skin is a very sensitive organ of the body. Skin infections occur due to its exposure to environmental changes, and interaction with different substances like allergens, chemicals, and microbes. Atopic dermatitis is an inflammatory skin problem usually caused by genetic and environmental factors. Food allergy is considered to be the cause of eczema in children. Symptoms include redness, blisters on skin, itching, and scaly bumpy skin mostly appears on neck, legs, hands and arms. Different lotions, creams, moisturizers are used to cure eczema. In traditional medicine, some medicinal plants are used worldwide to cure skin infections with no side effects. They also have the potential to cure eczema. Homogenized Aloe vera gel is used to cure atopic eczema. Aloe Vera gel contains polysaccharides, enzymes, minerals and vitamins. This study was carried out with the aim to evaluate the efficiency of Aloe vera to cure inflammatory skin induced by DNCB (2, 4-Dinitrochlorobenzene) in rats. This study defined a dose to cure Atopic dermatitis (Eczema) and for comparative dose analysis of Aloe vera to cure Atopic dermatitis at different doses.. The results of present study depicted that Aloe Vera gel extract have significant anti-inflammatory property particularly in increased dose of gel extract This article is protected by copyright.
