A Hybrid Fiber Nonlinearity Compensation Algorithm

In this paper, a hybrid fiber nonlinearity compensation algorithm is discussed. The method combines the existing decision feedback equalizer (DFE) and the back propagation (BP) method. The proposed method remarkably improves the fiber nonlinearity compensation performance and is expected to be implemented in the future high speed optical communication system.
