Far infrared cyclotron resonance in Hg1−xCdxTe

1970
Abstract Electron cyclotron resonance absorption measurements have been performed in Hg 1− x Cd x Te. The experiments have been done at 4.2°K using the 48 μm emission line from an H 2 O laser. For samples with x ranging from 0.245 to 0.15, the electron effective mass ratio was found to vary approximately as predicted by the k · p theory.
