Characteristics of Macrobenthic Community Structure in Tong′an Bay in Spring

An analysis of macrobenthic species composition and community structure was conducted based on 12 sampling collected from March 2006 in Tong′an Bay.The results show that:163 species were identified in the macrobenthos,among which Polychaeta,Mollusca and Crustacea constituted the main population of macrobenthos.The average abundance and biomass of macrobenthos were 845 ind./m2 and 13.81 g/m2 respectively in study area,and they are relatively low near the E′yu island.There were three macrobenthic communities in Tong′an Bay which were divided by CLUSTER and MDS analysis,among which community Ⅰ′biodiversity level was the highest.According to Abundance-Biomass Comparison analysis,certain disturbance were revealed in all the three communities.
