Magnetoresistance of the heavy fermion superconductor UPt3 near Tc

Abstract Electrical resistivity, magnetoresistance, and the upper critical field H c2 of the heavy fermion superconductor UPt 3 have been investigated with measurements down to 100 mK and in magnetic fields up to 30 kOe. These properties are discussed in terms of the spin fluctuations in UPt 3 .
