High-performance visualization in science and research
2014
This work showcases four examples of scientific visualizations
across various domains of research and science that were prepared
at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia, and the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST) in the USA: visualization of bone cancer,
Radio Frequency (RF) propagation through the human body, touch-
less interactions with bacteria colonies, and concrete hydration simulation visualization. All of them represent a meaningful way of
presenting data to a scientist or researcher, support understanding
of underlying phenomena, and also allow interaction with the data.
