NEW EUDESMANE SESQUITERPENOIDS FROM EREMOPHILA SCOPARIA

Three new eudesmane sesquiterpenoids have been isolated from Eremophila scoparia. They are (4aR,6S,7S,8aS)-7-hydroxy-6-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-4,8a-dimethyl-4a,5,6,7,8,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-2(1H)-one, (4aS,6S,7S,8aS)-7-hydroxy - 6-(1 -hydroxy -1-methylethyl)-4,8a-dimethyl-4a,5,6,7,8,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-2(1H)-one and (2S,3S,4aR,8aS)-3-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-5,8a-dimethyl-7-oxo-1,2,3,4,4a,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-2-yl acetate.
