Between the Ideal of Emancipation and Starting Work

This article deals with “second chance” measures that aim to solve the difficult situation of unemployed young people with no qualifications, evaluated according to the number of recipients who gain access to employment or to training courses that lead to a qualification. The methods of acting with and on these young people consist in upgrading their education, helping them to work out a professional plan and, more discreetly, inculcating moral attitudes, social skills that are of value on the job market.
