Alternativas de seguridad alimentaria en algunas fincas del municipio de Alcalá, con base en la construcción de un modelo de simulación

Trying to identify some of the elements related with the definition of the Food Safety in some farms of the municipality of Alcala, a Simulation Model for Typical Farms was constructed with System Dynamics methodology. With this proposal, Information about the alimentary situation in three farms of Alcala was obtained; and later the structure of relationships between the productive system, incomes, goods of self-consumption, and home’s spends were identify. This Simulation Model allowed to evaluate in general the situation of food safety in typical farms, and also was the base to define the most influence elements in the system; it allows proposing alternates to encourage the food safety in typical farms in the municipality of Alcala. As a result, the need of articulate different actions in the typical farm’s mechanisms of production was observed, this guarantees the permanence of the conditions of food safety and decrease the vulnerability of the typical farm related with the food access capacity.
