The present invention relates to an apparatus and a measuring method of measuring the calorific value of the LED, and more particularly to measuring the back surface temperature of the thermocouple probe (thermocouple probe) to the surface of the LED comes into contact with the LED and MCPCB (Metal Core Printed Circuit Board) , by using the integrating sphere measures the radiation of the light in (radiant flux), to an apparatus and method for measuring for measuring the heating value of the LED through the measurement data and the input power. LED heat generation unit according to the present invention, the integral sphere, a thermocouple probe and a thermal imager, the operation unit, and a display section, and measuring the copy speed of the light emitted from the integrating sphere LED, thermocouple probe LED surface of the back surface of the temperature and the MCPCB and measuring the temperature, the thermal imager has a calorific value calculation based on a probe thermocouple in contact with the LED data, it detects a temperature change and due to the measurement calculation unit and display unit displays the calculated amount of heat generated from the operation unit.
