Investigation of the factors effecting fluidized-bed coated granule′s release feature

With gelatin as film-forming material and urea particle(D=0.8 mm) as nucleus,the effects on coated granule′s dissolution feature of fluidizing gas velocity,bed temperature,nozzle air pressure and solution mass(concentration) were studied experimentally in a batch conical fluidized bed.The experimental results show the(fluidized) gas velocity and the solution mass concentration and especially the bed temperature have great influence on the release velocity.Variations of the release velocity versus above operation parameters were non-monotone,and that versus nozzle air pressure was reverse.
