Tetracarboxylic acid or its polyesterimide, and a manufacturing method thereof

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an useful and new alicyclic polyesterimide. SOLUTION: The present invention provides an alicyclic polyesterimide which can be induced by reacting an alicyclic tetracarboxylic acid anhydride having an ester group therein or a tetracarboxylic acid thereof (as a starting material) with an amine to give an alicyclic polyesterimide precursor and then imidizing the alicyclic polyesterimide precursor.
