Effect of strong Neo-Minophagen C on pregnant patients with viral hepatitis

ObjectiveTo evaluate the therapeutic effect of strong neo-minophagen C (SNMC) on pregnant women with viral hepatitis. Methods58 pregnant patients with viral hepatitis were divided into two groups: the treatment group (n=31) and the control group (n=27). The treatment group received SUMC injection 80ml daily besides routine drugs,30 days for one course of treatment; The control group only received routine drugs for 30 days. The changes of symptoms and liver function were observed. ResultsThe total effective rate was 70.9% and 83.9% after one course and two courses of treatment respectively in the treatment group; which in the control group were 51.9% and 70.3% respectively. The normal level rates of 3 indexes of liver function were significant higher in the treatment group than those in the control group after 1 and 2 months of treatment. The levels of 3 indexes of liver function were lower in the treatment group than those in the control group. ConclusionSNMC is safe and has significant effect on pregnant patients with viral hepatitis.
