Development of Two-Component Polyurethane Floor Coatings with High Build and High Wear Resistance

Using light-colored castor oil,phthalic anhydride,benzoic acid,95% glycerol,oxalic acid,a two-component polyurethane floor coatings with high build and high wear resistance was prepared,which was suitable for application and not easy to crack when thick painting. The appropriate choice of dehydrating agents and driers could effectively inhibit bubbles generated during application of polyurethane coatings,even under the condition of high humidity,the thick painting application had gained the smooth surface without bubbles. The addition of wear resistant additives could greatly improve the wear resistance and gloss retention after wiping.
