This paper presents new control technologies for gas networks based on the IDS High-Leit SCADA. Users increasingly demand personalised interfaces for various user profiles. High-Leit Navigator is an innovative navigation and engineering tool, offering distinct views on the data base model. Administration is based on an Microsoft explorer oriented tree-structure. Geo-referenced presentation on large screen displays enhance significantly the operation of large supply networks. This enables control and supervision of virtually any amount of data points in structured manner. Web-based solutions have been improved further: New system operation possibilities use web browsers and web-pad in order to enable mobile solutions. The helpdesk integrates customer information systems, outage and contract management, GIS and process information to form a global solution. To meet the requirements of deregulated gas markets, a module for administration of spot and free quantities has been developed. Gas network simulation can easily be integrated.
