Analysis of Indonesia Banking Performance

This study aims to investigate and analyze the effect of managerial ownership and institutional ownership on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2020. Managerial ownership and institutional ownership are expected to improve company performance, which starts with investors’ confidence that the funds they invest are in safe condition and should yield coupons. The search method uses explanatory data sources that use secondary data. The research sample consisted of 22 companies for 3 periods. The results show that managerial ownership has a significant impact on financial performance and that institutional ownership has a significant impact on financial performance. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that managerial ownership and institutional ownership together have a significant effect on financial performance of 53.5%, while the rest is influenced by other unexamined factors.
