Антиоксидантная и противоопухолевая активность новых синтетических серосодержащих монофенолов

Effects of new synthetic sulfur-containing monophenols on erythrocytes and tumor cells was studied. It was shown that the studied monophenols increase the structural stability of human erythrocytes during oxidative hemolysis. It was also found the antitumor activity of a number of monophenols against human human larynx carcinoma cells. The interrelation between the structure and the effect of the studied antioxidants is established. Key structural descriptors of new sulfur-containing antioxidants that determine the toxic properties of compounds against tumor cells were identified.
