Pixel level fusion of medical signals using DCT, DWT and hybrid(DWT-DCT) transform based on maximum selection rule-a comparison

Signal fusion is the process of combining two or more signals into a single signal. The resulting signal takes less time for transmission than sending the signals individually. Hence signal fusion can be used with medical videos in case of dealing with emergencies. This paper aims to demonstrate the application of basic transform domain methods in medical video fusion of ECG and EEG. PSNR and MSE parameters are used for measuring the fusion effect. The effectiveness of the fusion scheme is finally based on Hybrid transform.
