Male Breast Cancer

2010
Male breast cancer is rare. Presentation is most commonly with a painless, retroareolar lump. Diagnosis is by clinical examination, imaging and needle biopsy. Management is similar to that of female breast cancer. For early disease, surgery followed by tamoxifen with or without radiotherapy is the treatment of choice. For metastatic disease, tamoxifen or chemotherapy is indicated.
