The invention relates to a composite shovel having a wear resistance metal and ceramic hybrid surface layer. The composite shovel is characterized in that the shovel tooth surface is provided with the wear resistance metal and ceramic hybrid surface layer. The manufacturing method comprises: coating a wear resistance material composite layer; treating the wear resistance coating material coated on the evaporative pattern; carrying out a coating treatment on the evaporative pattern surface layer; manufacturing the shovel tooth cast form; preparing the composite layer wear resistance material; and pouring. The composite shovel has the following advantages that: the advantages of the high strength alloy material, the high wear resistance metal and the high wear resistance ceramic material are completely provided, such that the strength, the wear resistance and the impact resistance are substantially increased so as to increase the service life of the shovel tooth by 3-10 times the service life of the commonly used shovel tooth.
