The invention relates to a violent stirring and quenching cooling system. A plurality of guide devices distributed abreast are arranged in a quenching tank, the guide devices are U-shaped pipes with upward openings at two ends, one of the openings is aligned with a quenching workpiece, the other opening is internally provided with a propeller blade of a stirring device, and a motor of the stirring device is fixed above the quenching tank. The invention also discloses a quenching cooling method using the violent stirring and quenching cooling system, which comprises the following steps: a, starting the stirring device, mixing quenching liquid in the quenching tank; b, dipping a quenching workpiece into the quenching liquid; c, starting a quenching liquid cooling device to rapidly reduce temperature of the quenching liquid and cool the quenching liquid. Because the quenching tank is internally provided with the guide devices which are distributed abreast, the stirring device can enable the quenching liquid on the surface of the quenching workpiece to generate high-speed flowing through the guide devices, the violent stirring and quenching cooling system quickens the heat exchange of the quenching liquid and the quenching workpiece, and can enable the quenching workpiece to obtain a higher surface rigidity and a hardening layer.
