[Stability of expressing the nptII gene in transgenic tobacco plants (nicotiana tabacum L.) with multiple T-DNA insertions].

The stability of nptII gene expression was assessed in transgenic tobacco plants with multiple T-DNA insertions. The plants were obtained by self-pollination in the first (T1) and second (T2) generations and also in F1 from crossing T1 plants. The multiple copies showed stable Mendelian inheritance.
