Simulation numérique des écoulements et des transferts de masse dans un procédé inductif d'extraction réductrice liquide/liquide

2013
Reductive liquid-liquid extraction is one of the most promising ways to reprocess spent nuclear fuel and especially to separate actinides and fission products. The extraction is ensured by an oxydo-reductive reaction that occurs at the interface between a molten salt that contains the elements to be extracted and a liquid metal. In that kind of process, the associated mass transfer is strongly dependent of the stirring of both phases as well as of the interface itself. In order to study the impact of stirring on mass transfer, an experimental facility based on electromagnetic induction has been built. This paper aims to simulate flow and mass transfer in this facility. Mots clefs : extraction reductrice liquide-liquide, transfert de masse, brassage electromagnetique
