Comparison of Diagnosis Value of cTnI and CK-MB Mass Detection in Acute Myocardial Infarction

2008
Objective:To compare with the diagnosis value of cardiac troponin I(cTnI) and creatine kinase-MB mass(CK-MB mass) on acute myocardial infarction(AMI) Method: Serum of 58 AMI patients(AMI group) and 50 healthy people(control group) are examined for concentrations of cTnI and CK-MB mass,by Access Immunoassay System of Beckman Coulter. Results: The cTnI and CK-MB mass serum concentration of AMI group are higher than control group(P 0.01).The appearace time of cTnI(3~6h) is earlier than CK-MB mass(3~8h).The peak time of cTnI(18~24h) is later and shorter than CKMB mass(9~36h).The recovery time of cTnI(7~18d) is later and longer than CK-MB mass(2~4d)Conclusions:cTnI and CK-MB mass diagnosis time and evaluation time on AMI are different. The combined detection of both has a boarder diagnosis time window and could make a more accurate diagnosis of AMI.
