Method for fingerprint minutiae matching based on their alignment

In the paper a method for fingerprint matching is presented, which is based on the use of additional information about the representation of fingerprint minutiae. The method proposed is a modification of the method by M. Tico et al [1]. However, in contrast with the prototype, this method uses both the characteristic of local regions of the directional field and the local configurations of minutiae present in the fingerprint.
