Diagnosing the characteristics of control valves used in power unit control systems

A system for experimentally studying the characteristics of control valves using the archived data of the automated process control system of power units and a procedure for carrying such studies under the conditions of a power station are developed. It is shown that almost all typical control members have nonlinear characteristics, as well as repairable and unrepairable defects.
