Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a timing transmission method and device, a UE comprising: a sending unit, used for sending to a network side device, on the basis of a first PRACH preamble repeat sending method, N first PRACH preambles, N being an integer greater than or equal to 2; a processing unit, used for determining, at least on the basis of the number of first PRACH preambles sent by the sending unit and the first PRACH preamble repeat sending method, the time to receive an acquisition indication (AI) sent by the network side device and corresponding to the first PRACH preamble; and a receiving unit, used for receiving, on the basis of the time determined by the processing unit for receiving the AI, M AI sent by the network side device on the basis of an AI repeat sending method, M being an integer greater than or equal to 2. The coverage capacity of the network side device can therefore be increased, and the timing of AI transmission can be implemented.
