OPTIMIZATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR DECISION SUPPORT - AN ENABLER FOR PROJECT ACCELERATE

Attaining operational excellence is a challenge made difficult by proliferation of data, speed to market, and poor support tools. This paper describes a modern decisionmaking approach using artificial intelligence (AI) and operations research (OR) tools that will assist businesses achieve operational excellence. It provides several actual and hypothetical case studies where methodology and tools solved several vexing decision-making problems in a variety of industries.
