Electrical resistivity of single-wall carbon nanotubes obtained by the arc-discharge technique

Electrical resistivity studies performed on single-wall carbon nanotubes obtained by the arc discharge method are reported in the present paper. The experiments have been performed on both doped and undoped non-purified bulk samples and the results are compared to those reported for single-wall carbon nanotubes obtained by the laser vaporisation technique. Except the fact that we never observed a “normal” metallic behaviour, both kind of materials exhibit the same electrical properties.
