The method includes the steps that a channel is formed in the sealed space, ozone is generated/introduced into the channel, the humidity of the sealed space/channel is controlled at the same time, and the ozone and water vapor are irradiated with an ultraviolet lamp at the UVC waveband to generate .OH, wherein the accumulative .OH generation time exceeds 24 h. Correspondingly, the invention further provides a device for removing VOC in the sealed space. By means of the method and device for removing VOC in the sealed space, VOC can be rapidly and efficiently removed, and the content of VOC in the sealed space can be kept at a low value for a long time.
