Половозрастная структура контингента лиц, перенесших острые отравления

2013
In the structure of acute poisoning there are significant differences between men and women. The structure of poisonings in the Republic of Bashkortostan on 19,187 cases in 2007-2009 was analyzed depending on the gender factor. Alcohol poisonings in men were about 4 times more frequent then in women, and the frequency of non-alcoholic cases was comparable between groups. Mostly, men had poisoning at the age of 15-30 years and women — 30-45 years. The significance of gender in the level and structure of poisoning was shown that is important in the toxicological prevention and care.
