The dose-effect relationship between radiation and chromosome unstable aberration

2009
Objective:To study the dose-effect relationship between radiation and chromosome unstable aberration. Methods:The vitro lymphocytes were given irradiation 0,0.5,1,2,3,4,5,6Gy by 4MV X-ray.After lymphocyte culture and chromosome analysis,100 cells were observed and the dicentric(dic),centric ring(r),acentric fragment(ace)were counted. Results:The radiation dose of 0,0.5,1,2,3,4,5,6Gy were resulted in chromosome aberration rate of 0%、6%、15%、41%、72%、148%、231%、382%.The fitting curve was Y=12.582X2-15.387X+9.715.Conclusion:The chromosome unstable aberration rate increased with the radiation dose increasing in the method of quadratic polynomial.
