Phase Transition of Cs2FeI4

Crystals of Cs 2 FeI 4 were grown by Bridgman method and differential thermal analysis and dielectric constant measurements were performed. It was found that Cs 2 FeI 4 has the first order phase transition around 270 K on heating and 220 K on cooling. The similarity of the phase transitions among Cs 2 FeI 4 , Cs 2 CoI 4 , Cs 2 ZnI 4 and Cs 2 MnI 4 was discussed.
