The invention discloses a 355 nm ultraviolet solid laser which comprises a semiconductor side face pumping module arranged on a base plate, a collimation laser, a total reflection endoscope, a first acousto-optical Q switch and a second acousto-optical Q switch are coaxially arranged on the part, at the left side of the side face pumping module, of a sliding rail from far to near, and a harmonic reflector, a frequency doubling crystal, a sum frequency crystal, a triple frequency harmonic output mirror and a diaphragm are coaxially arranged on the part, at the right side of the side face pumping module, of the sliding rail from near to far. The 355 nm ultraviolet solid laser is simple and practical in design, and a linear inner cavity triple frequency method is used for achieving high efficiency and high power. The 355 nm ultraviolet solid laser has the advantage of being simple and compact in structure. The harmonic reflector, the frequency doubling crystal and the sum frequency crystal are sequentially arranged so that the insertion loss can be lowered and adjustment can be easy, the power of the laser is improved due to the double acousto-optical Q switches, when the repetition frequency is 10 kHz, the maximum output power of the laser is 40 W, and the light-light conversion efficiency in the range of 808 nm to 355 nm is about 8 percent, and engineering application is easy to achieve.
