Energy-based Multi-hop Clustering Algorithm for WSN

This paper proposes Energy-Based Multi-hop Clustering(EMHC) algorithm which selects cluster heads according to the priority ofresidual energy and adopts the minimum inner-cluster communication cost structure.Simulations on OMNet++ show that the cluster heads areevenly distributed, and energy is saved to improve the network lifetime by EMHC algorithm.Its performance is superior to LEACH and HEED.
