Comparison of LMS Algorithm and RLS Algorithm Using in the Under water Acoustic Communication System

To induce inter symbol interference which is due to multipat h t ransmit effect in t he water acoustic communication sys2 tem ,linear equalization can be adopted in t he system. This article int roduces t he basic principle of LMS algorit hm and RL S algorit hm , and makes use of Matlab simulation software to provide t he adaptive equalization system in t he water acoustic system based on t hese two algorit hms ,compares t he performance of t hese two algorit hms ,and analyzes t he result of comparison at last .
